TIZAYUCA COMPUTER CENTER
MEXICO CITY PROXIMITY
2012
In Tizayuca, the client was searching for a computer center that could house and protect all the data his companies and factories produced every month, as such, the projects main objective was to protect its content from all hazards, considering both human and natural.
The result is a lifted space (separating from the ground in case of floods ocurring) that is supported in a tension-like structure with a central core. The building allows minimum amount of light and is fully maintained by artificial ventilation in order to avoid the entrance of dust and/or water. It incorporates emergency powerplants and top of the line fire protection in order to protect the information stored.
The project was designed and built in partnership with LBR Arquitectos.
